How to set up VLC Media Player for IPTV
VLC Media Player (also searched as VLC IPTV) is one of the most popular IPTV players — it runs on Windows, Mac, Android, iOS and connects with your M3U network stream. Follow the steps below to connect it to your TopOne IPTV subscription and start streaming in minutes.
Step 1
Install VLC from videolan.org (or your app store) and open it.
Step 2
On desktop: Media → "Open Network Stream"; on mobile: Network → "Open Network Stream".
Step 3
Paste the M3U URL we send you and press Play.
Step 4
Open View → Playlist to browse the full channel list.
Step 5
Double-click any channel to watch.
💡 VLC is great for a quick test, but for daily viewing on a TV we recommend IPTV Smarters or TiviMate.
Fix: VLC plays one stream but shows no channel list
VLC is a basic player — it streams your M3U but has no EPG/guide and a plain list. For a TV-style guide and categories, use IPTV Smarters or TiviMate instead. If VLC shows nothing, re-copy the M3U URL exactly (it is long — make sure none of it is cut off).
